Smadar is responsible for all aspects of management and development of Lawflex in Israel and overseas. She develops early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives and help drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

She approaches every process with a desire and belief in achieving a tailor-made solution fitted perfectly to our customers. She is managing our pool of lawyers, and handling operations with law firms, companies and business entities in order to, among other things, promote and establish LawFlex as market leader in the ALSP field. As an anthropologist Smadar is fascinated by the immense changes of the labor market nowadays. She believes that the future labor market will be carried mainly by freelancers via remote work and she is excited to contribute to this change in the legal world.

Smadar Joined LawFlex after completing her Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She lived and worked in Rome, Ghana, NY & Michigan, prior to moving back to Israel as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Hebrew University. She has conducted over a decade of extensive ethnographic research in West Africa, Italy, and the USA focusing on issues of labor and religious migration, human rights and social aspects of law. In addition to her research she has taught various courses in social-cultural, medical, and legal anthropology at universities in Israel and the USA.

Smadar has a B.A. and M.A from the Hebrew University, and an M.A and a Ph.D. from The University of Michigan
