Jackie Donner

Jackie created Lawflex as an answer to both law firms’ yearning to reduce costs and lawyers’ realization that the traditional legal career model was no longer working for them.

Before founding LawFlex, Jackie worked as an English lawyer for Epstein Rosenblum Maoz in their corporate department, and then as a member of their private client team on English law matters.

Jackie has acted on high-profile transactions for FTSE 100 and Tel Aviv 35 corporate clients, internet and technology companies, as well for leading financial institutions and banks. Moreover, Jackie has extensive experience on advising private clients on various estate planning and private wealth matters.

Prior to ERM, Jackie worked in the corporate department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London, and as a legal counsel at Morgan Stanley and Fidelity International.

Jackie gained an MSt from Oxford University, a BSc from London School of Economics and a B.A. from Tel Aviv University. She qualified as an English lawyer at BBP University Law School, and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. She is also a holder of the STEP Qualification.

Zohar is one of the leading veteran strategy consultants in the field of legal marketing in the Israeli legal market and has a long standing (over ten years) reputation in the legal business development field.

Throughout the years, Zohar has acquired unprecedented professional experience and knowledge in closely and personally accompanying tens of law firms in Israel and abroad in arrange of organizational processes, branding campaigns, marketing, internet and media development.

Zohar has been lauded, not once as the “law firm whisperer, leading mergers between firms, wide strategic consulting initiatives and core processes in the legal market in Israel.

The extensive expertise he has gained, as well as his wide professional knowledge have respectively positioned Zohar as a sought after lecturer in the field of Legal Marketing in Israel, and he coordinates and delivers lectures and seminars in various forums, with particular emphasis on leading conferences of the Bar Association, continuing legal education programs and law firm management programs as well as to students at various universities. In this context, he lectures on a wide range of topics touching on marketing, branding, and business development of law firms.

Zohar spent a number of years working in business development at a leading law firm in Israel. He is amongst the founding players in the strategic consulting, marketing and branding field in the Israeli legal market.

Zohar serves in a few roles, including:

  • Founder of ILMA (Israeli Legal Marketing Association) – the main Israeli legal marketing organization which coordinates the legal marketing field in Israel and serves as a professional guide.
  • Serves as the representative of the Israeli Bar Association in the American Bar Association.
  • Serves as the Chairman of the international continuing legal education arm of the Israeli Bar Association.
  • Serves as a director and external director in a number of companies.

Zohar completed his first degree in law (LLB) and government (BA) at the Interdisciplinary Centre in Herzliya (IDC) and his second degree in Social Sciences for Managers (Executive MA) in a public and political leadership program at Tel Aviv University.

Smadar is responsible for all aspects of management and development of Lawflex in Israel and overseas. She develops early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives and help drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

She approaches every process with a desire and belief in achieving a tailor-made solution fitted perfectly to our customers. She is managing our pool of lawyers, and handling operations with law firms, companies and business entities in order to, among other things, promote and establish LawFlex as market leader in the ALSP field. As an anthropologist Smadar is fascinated by the immense changes of the labor market nowadays. She believes that the future labor market will be carried mainly by freelancers via remote work and she is excited to contribute to this change in the legal world.

Smadar Joined LawFlex after completing her Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She lived and worked in Rome, Ghana, NY & Michigan, prior to moving back to Israel as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Hebrew University. She has conducted over a decade of extensive ethnographic research in West Africa, Italy, and the USA focusing on issues of labor and religious migration, human rights and social aspects of law. In addition to her research she has taught various courses in social-cultural, medical, and legal anthropology at universities in Israel and the USA.

Smadar has a B.A. and M.A from the Hebrew University, and an M.A and a Ph.D. from The University of Michigan

Tamar is a true believer in the legal outsourcing model – having worked as a big law corporate partner with numerous clients who wanted high-quality service at cost-efficient rates, and with top-quality lawyers who wanted to break away from the law firm model that they felt did not work well for them.

Prior to joining LawFlex, Tamar was in private practice for 30 years, practicing at one of Israel’s most well-respected law firms. Her practice encompassed a wide range of areas, predominantly in the corporate, tech, and commercial arena, and she headed the firm’s cross-border commercial practice.

Tamar is the Networking Officer of the IBA Women Lawyer’s Committee and has served in the past as a Board member of My Israel, a philanthropic organization.

Tamar holds a BA from Barnard College of Columbia University, an MIA from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs, and a JD from Boston University School of Law. She is a member of the NY, DC, and Israeli Bars.

Karin Shlush

Adv. Karin Shlush is a project and client manager at LawFlex- she is responsible for all aspects of managing the LawFlex pool of lawyers, which is the biggest asset of our company. She manages to reach new talented Lawyers and bring them to be a significant part of our team.

As a client manager, she is responsible for maintaining the relationships with our existing clients and create new opportunities with potential clients in Israel and overseas. she has a strong understanding of the clients’ needs that enable her to provide them with the best ‘ Taylor Made’ solution. She brings creativity, as well as high level of customer service and client’s satisfaction.

Karin joined LawFlex after 3 years as a lawyer in the private market. She worked as an associate in one of the biggest law firms in Israel in the Banking& finance department and was part of a large-scale project involving top international law firms.  Then she moved to work as a Lawyer in the professional department of one of the leading Investments Houses in Tel Aviv. Karin did her legal internship in the public sector and admitted the Bar exams in 2018.

Karin holds a LL. B (magna cum laude) from the college of management.

Adv. Natali Shaybak is a project and client manager at LawFlex – Natali is responsible for managing the entire pool of lawyers and is the liaison between them and the law firms or companies.

Natali is highly invested in the placement field and manages it with uncompromising professionalism, combined with emotional intelligence and creativity in order to create the perfect match. Natali believes in transparency, sincerity and thinking out of the box. With the ability to deeply understand the needs of both sides, she incorporates these qualities into her role.

Natali brings to LawFlex high interpersonal skills, exceptional business savvy and operational understanding, as well as in-depth knowledge and valuable experience within large organizations – all with the aim of producing effective and ideal solutions.

She is responsible for locating quality lawyers and matching them with law firms, or suitable corporations, in order to generate a great fit and facilitate a mutually beneficial relationship.

Natali joined LawFlex after 3 years as a lawyer in the private sector. Natali interned at Barnea & Co. in the commercial department.

Upon finishing her internship and becoming a licensed lawyer in 2018, Natali worked as an attorney at one of the largest law firms in Israel – Gornitzky & Co. in the Banking and Finance Department. She was part of a large-scale project involving international law firms.

Natali holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the College of Management Academic Studies.

Shali is responsible for driving brand growth and customer engagement at LawFlex through innovative marketing strategies. She excels in market research, campaign development, and digital marketing, leveraging data-driven insights to deliver impactful results. With a strong foundation in AI NLP/ASR data model analysis, Shali combines creativity and technical expertise to enhance brand presence, seamlessly integrating her skills as a photographer and her keen eye for creating visually inspiring content into her work.

In addition to her marketing role, Shali has served as an Emergency Medic with Magen David Adom since 2018, gaining hands-on experience in Advanced and Basic Life Support. Her diverse background and commitment to excellence make her a dynamic and valuable member of the LawFlex team.

Shali is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications and English Literature.

Janet Belleli Goodvach leads the eDiscovery and Document Review team at LawFlex, bringing extensive expertise in legal document review, project management, and document management platforms. A Monash University graduate with a BA/LLB in Politics, Psychology, Economics, and Law (1994-1998), Janet has held various roles, including Legal Counsel, Senior Associate, and Project Manager for law firms, corporates and private clients. With a strong background in global legal outsourcing, she excels in managing complex litigation, arbitration, and investigation projects, ensuring precise and efficient document handling. Her leadership drives innovation and excellence in the eDiscovery domain.

LawFlex has appointed Gil Sheinfeld, technology executive and former Chief Technology Officer of Fiverr, as an Adviser. As Adviser, Gil is responsible for advising LawFlex on the innovation and technical development of LawFlex’s product and platform.

At Fiverr, Gil was part of creating the world’s leading global marketplace for freelance services and was responsible for managing hundreds of programmers and technical teams. In 2019, Gil was part of the executive team that took Fiverr, now valued at $1.63B, to an IPO.

Prior to joining Fiverr, Gil held leadership positions at some of the world’s largest and innovative technology conglomerates. He served as the Director of Engineering at A9.com, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, and led the development of several key initiatives at Cisco in the areas of QoS and MPLS management for both the Enterprise and Service Provider markets.

Throughout his career, Gil has a successful track record of building, leading and scaling product and technology organisations, resulting in multiple acquisitions totalling more than $500M. Most significantly, Gil led the product, tech strategy and due diligence team that sold Amobee to Singtel for $321M.

Gil holds an MBA and BSc (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University.

LawFlex has appointed Tobias Heining, former president of the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA) as an Adviser.

Tobias has gained in-depth knowledge of the structures, business models and markets of Professional Service Firms (PSFs) through more than two decades as an external consultant and internal Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BDMC) manager.

Tobias has established a reputation as a thought leader and pioneer in the European legal market and beyond. He is the author of numerous articles and a frequent speaker on topics related to BDMC and PSF innovation, founder of Germany’s first law firm legal tech R&D unit, co-founder and former president of the European Legal Technology Association (ELTA).

Tobias has more than a decade of senior BDMC management experience at the top of large law firms. Tobias is seen as a dedicated, straightforward and high performing manager with strong business acumen, strategic vision, diplomatic and organisational skills and personal integrity.

Miki Roitman

LawFlex has appointed Miki Roitman as an Adviser. Miki Roitman is a lawyer and social activist. In the last couple of years she worked as a professional advisor in the Status of Women and Gender Equality Committee in the Israeli parliament, and in addition she advised parliament members and ministers on several occasions.

Miki is a qualified attorney in England, Germany and Israel. Prior to moving to Israel, Miki worked as a lawyer for large companies including being the global contracts negotiator for KPMG, working as an attorney for Jones Day (Frankfurt, Germany) and for Gornitzky (Tel-Aviv, Israel). She also clerked at the Israel Supreme Court.

MIiki also worked for several years as an analyst in syndication finance in the city of London.

She holds a first degree in Law and Accounting from Kingston University, a master degree in Finance from University of London, and a master degree in Political Communication from Tel Aviv University.

LawFlex has appointed Kevin O’Shea as an Adviser. Kevin is an accomplished entrepreneur recognized for his result-oriented approach and wealth of knowledge in the alternative legal services (ALSP) domain.

As early as 2014, he spearheaded the establishment of one of the premier flexible lawyer platforms worldwide. In partnership with prominent law firms such as Reed Smith and Hogan Lovells, alongside multinational organizations like HSBC, Kevin blazed a trail in legal talent sourcing, substantially enhancing both efficiency and effectiveness.

Boasting a career spanning over two decades in leadership and management roles, Kevin’s proficiency in operations and talent sourcing is both deep and broad. Kevin’s unwavering consistency and commitment to service truly set him apart.

He has an exceptional knack for pinpointing the perfect resources for clients precisely when they need them. His expertise lies in crafting solid strategies and meticulously driving their execution to ensure client success.

Kevin’s abundant experience and strategic acumen make him a vital addition to our high-performing team of strategic advisors.

Kevin shares a distinctive and unique connection to the legal world, being the great-grandson of May Donoghue, a key figure in a landmark legal case often referred to as the “Snail in the Bottle” case. This case, formally known as Donoghue v Stevenson, played a pivotal role in shaping the law of negligence in common law jurisdictions across the globe. It established the general principles of the duty of care, fundamentally influencing the legal landscape. This personal link to a significant legal precedent gives Kevin the ultimate anecdote.
