Top Global NewLaw Companies – 2026 Edition

We’re back with the  2026 edition of the Top Global NewLaw Companies, brought to you by  LawFlex. Over the past year, alternative legal service providers (ALSPs) have continued to demonstrate strong momentum, further cementing their role in reshaping how legal services are delivered across the global legal industry.

As legal departments and law firms navigate sustained economic pressure and increasing complexity, ALSPs have proven themselves to be indispensable partners. What was once considered “alternative” has become increasingly embedded in the way legal work is performed, with human-led service models now forming a core part of how law firms, corporate legal departments, and growing businesses operate.

For previous NewLaw editions:
The World’s Top NewLaw Companies – 2025 Edition
The World’s Top NewLaw Companies – 2024 Edition
The World’s Top NewLaw Companies – 2023 Edition
The World’s Top NewLaw Companies – 2022 Edition
The World’s Top NewLaw Companies – 2011 edition

The ALSP market continues to represent a substantial and fast-growing segment of the legal industry. According to the  Alternative Legal Services Providers 2025 Report, published by the Thomson Reuters Institute in collaboration with Georgetown Law and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, the global ALSP market reached an estimated  $28.5 billion as of 2023, reflecting an  18% compound annual growth rate from 2021 to 2023.

The report also highlights increasing reliance on ALSPs by both law firms and corporate legal departments, particularly for managed legal services and high-volume legal work. Throughout 2025, ALSPs demonstrated resilience and operational sophistication amid ongoing market uncertainty. Their ability to deploy skilled legal professionals efficiently, manage complex legal processes, and integrate seamlessly with in-house teams reinforced their position as trusted, long-term partners.

Most notably, the boundaries between ALSPs, traditional law firms, and corporate legal departments continue to blur, pointing toward a more integrated, flexible, and dynamic legal ecosystem.

In response, LawFlex has curated the 2026 directory of leading NewLaw companies from around the world. This year’s list highlights organisations delivering human-led legal services through alternative delivery models, reflecting the continued evolution of the modern legal function. Whether you are a:

  • Tech startup company
  • Head of a corporate legal department
  • A newly formed small to medium-sized law firm
  • An international law firm recognised as an industry leader
  • Or somewhere in between

There is bound to be a company on this list that can add value to your team or organisation. A sampling of the services you will find includes:

  • On-demand legal counsel
  • Flexible legal resourcing
  • Contract review and managed contracting services
  • Due diligence and document review
  • Merger and acquisition support
